Clotilde Davenne – Paradis 2020 – Irancy

The nose is mineral, racy with a fine intensity. There are notes of fresh black cherries, violets and more slightly crunchy strawberries combined with some minerality and fresh liquorice. There is a subtle hint of fresh pepper. The palate is fruity and juicy with freshness and minerality. There is suavity, energy and a nice tangy guideline. There are notes of fresh cherry, fresh juicy plum and more slightly violets combined with a touch of fresh blackcurrant and a subtle hint of crisp raspberry, racy minerality and a hint of fresh almond and acidity. There is an imperceptible vanilla note in the background. There is suppleness, a fine fatness and some airiness with good length and supple tannins.
