Château de Fieuzal 2020 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is fruity, captivating, subtle and offers power in delicacy . It reveals notes of morello cherry, bright strawberry and slight notes of bright/pulp wild berries associated with small touches of lily, cornflower, wild blueberry, liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of spices/pepper. The palate is fruity, coating, discreetly tight and offers a tangy frame, minerality, a certain juiciness, a good definition, a certain richness / concentration in elegance, as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy raspberry, pulpy/juicy currants and slight notes of cherry associated with slight touches of fresh/juicy blackcurrant, hints of flowers/varieties, with slight hints of tonka bean/cocoa, spices as well as a discreet hint of toast (emphasizes the fruit) and fresh hazelnut. The tannins are smooth, racy and elegant.
