Château de Moulin Rouge 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is gourmand and offers aromatics, fairly ripe fruit and a fine mineral hint. It expresses notes of juicy/fairly ripe wild blackcurrant, juicy/fairly ripe black plum and small notes of fairly ripe strawberry, associated with touches of roasted, graphite as well as hints of cornflower, lily and has a fine hint of colas. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness, a tangy structure, good definition, a certain tension and accuracy. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and more slightly – small roasted red fruits associated with a touch of plum, plum blossoms as well as hints of fresh tobacco and licorice. Good length. A slight sapidity on the finish/persistence.
