Racy nose, well built and offers a lovely freshness, a nice peppery side as well as depth in its freshness. There are notes of violet, blackcurrant and small notes of small fresh berries associated with touches of pepper as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco as well as a discreet hint of cornflower. The palate is nicely mineral, balanced and offers freshness, suppleness, fattiness, gourmandise, a certain slight creaminess, precision as well as a tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of creamy plum, hints of cornflower, nutmeg as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco, vanilla and graphite. A subtle saline hint on the finish/persistence. The tannins offer a little softness.
