Cantina Astroni, Tenuta Jossa 2020 – Campi Flegrei DOP

(Anteprima) The nose is very fresh, currently slightly tight and offers a certain small minerality. It reveals notes of quince, zest and small notes of pine associated with touches of small yellow flowers as well as a very discreet almost straw/varietal hint. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, acidity, a certain brilliance of the fruit, fullness, width, a nice definition as well as a nice aerial side in its fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, fresh apricot and small notes of pulpy/juicy mirabelle plum associated with touches of small crushed yellow fruits as well as a subtle hint almost of pineapple, beeswax (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of acacia. Good length. Good persistence.
