The nose is spicy and needs work. It expresses notes of clove, bigarreau cherry and small notes of wild berries, juniper berries as well as fine hints of liquorice stick and a very discreet hint of olive tree. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, a fresh frame, tension, minerality and almost a crystalline touch, some saltiness, a gourmand and finely powdery grain. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, blackberry and – small notes of juicy/pulpy red berries, associated with touches of juniper berries as well as hints of olive, tonka bean/cocoa as well as fine toasted points. Minerality, good definition and a certain roundness. The tannins are mellow and sapid.
