A nice dense nose, fruity, concentrated, almost a bit smoky, with a fine spiciness. It expresses notes of damask plum, Morello cherry and small notes of camphor associated with delicate touches of dense/concentrated small red fruits, saffron as well as points of graphite, racy minerality and a discreet almost vanilla hint. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a mineral frame, juiciness, acidity, a nice energy, depth, pulpiness and a nice definition on the palate, a beautiful gourmandise and ample and airy substance, a nice maturity of the fruits. It expresses the notes of roasted cherry, pulpy red berries and small notes of dark plum, dense blackberry, associated with touches of violet, sense of place, as well as fine hints of roast, bean tonka and a discreet hint of toast. Nice minerality and freshness. The tannins are supple and smooth. A tasty, deep, multi-layered wine, with some mellowness, chewiness on the finish/persistence. A discreet hint of coffee on the persistence/retro.
