(without added sulfites) The nose is aromatic and expresses notes of blackberry, small wild black berries, juniper berries and small notes of bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of local dry soil, as well as hints of tobacco and liquorice stick. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain minerality, some tension, energy, a certain purity, fullness and a nice definition on the palate. It expresses the notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright purple plum and small notes of juicy fig associated with touches of juniper berry as well as fine almost orange hints in the background as well as hints of dry ground, sage, dry local grove and fine hints of liquorice stick, dried black olive and fine almost forest floor hints. The tannins are supple and elegant. Nice definition and elegance.
