The wine shows a very pale, translucent ruby colour. The nose is reductive, smoky, needs air to open up. It reveals nuances of red cherries and strawberries with a touch of spices in the background. The palate is light and feels diluted, offering the flavours similar to the nose, nuances of tar and smoke and a certain pronounced bitterness, slightly rubbery. The tannins are sticky. Intense bitterness on the finish as well.
