The wine shows a pale ruby colour. The nose is heady and concentrated, with soaring notes of Mediterranean herbs, peonies, rosehip, barberry, red and black cherries. The palate offers powerful concentration, bold, fine-grained, slightly drying tannins, high complexity. The wine is muscular and heady, balanced by refreshing acidity and bright fruitiness, complemented by nuances of pine tar, resin and red tea. Very long finish. Still a very young wine.
