Château Haut Gros Caillou – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose presents a fine grain, delicate and velvety. It reveals notes of pulpy boysenberry, small ripe black fruits and small notes of brilliant raspberry, associated with touches of violet, nutmeg, as well as fine hints of small red berries/cranberry and an almost smoky hint. The palate is beautifully fruity, mineral, fresh and offers a fine fatness, tension and a discreet powdery in mouth. This wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/pulpy cassis and small notes of violet, combined with touches of fresh cherry, brilliant raspberry, as well as fine hints of black tea, graphene and smoke. Good length. A fruity, easy access wine.
