Château de Fonbel – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity. There are notes of pulpy cassis, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy violet plum, associated with fine hints of lily, a subtle hint of peony, as well as a discreet hint of graphene and iodine. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness and floral/sappy notes and fine hints of minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh red cherry, violet and small notes of fresh cassis, combined with touches of small red berries, toasted hazelnut and chocolate. The tannins are mellow, sapid and iodized. Good length. Gourmandise.
