Despite the evolution felt at the nose with red citrus ripe, and the warmth on the palate, the wine is very involving, elegant and salty. It is an iconic, recognizable Amarone, a bit severe but fibrous and powerful.
Not very expressive at the beginning, then opens up with mushroom notes, sweet-spicy and floral nuances; fine and thick tannins, hints of wet rock, the palate is very complex, juicy on the mid-palate, rippled on the finish. Wine needs time to be accomplished.
